On to other news. Chris and I have started the P90X program. You have probably seen the infomercials for it on TV. It's just an exercise program. Oh man! It is so hard! They have different types of exercises for each day of the week and you just follow the set out schedule and follow the videos. We did yoga the other day, and we started it thinking, oh yoga isn't too hard, this will be a nice break from the aerobic stuff. We couldn't even finish the thing! It is an hour and half long, and it was just so hard. Just watching you would think that it would be a peice of cake, but it's not. We have heard from quite a few people that it is really effective, and I don't doubt it. There's no way you couldn't lose weight if you follow the schedule and do the exercises. We've been doing it for a WHOLE 4 days now, and it's already killing us! It will get easier though...right? It has felt good to actually be doing some exercise though. We just need to be disciplined and keep it up. We should take some before and after pictures!
That's pretty much it for news at the Hardcastle Residence. Until next time....
Hey Angela, I love your blog. I pretty much went back and read all your posts. It's good to know how you are Chris are doing.
ReplyDeleteI've heard about that exercise program and how intense it is, yet also very effective. Our stake here has an aerobics program that I've participated in and occasionally they do yoga. It is seriously hard! I understand completely.
Ang! I love your blog! me and Jena were talking to Chris today about that incident.. haha.. and me and Jena were laughing so hard.. it wasn't funny, but it was.. you know :) oh I miss you guys! I need to come visit!
ReplyDeleteYeah it was definately a memorable incident...and smellable as well.
ReplyDeleteI just found out that you have a blog. I love all your pics. I just read the part about the P90X. I really really wanted to get the program for after I have the baby, but I ordered a different one instead. It is made by the same guy, but it's called 10-Minute Trainer. All the workouts are 10 minutes, then you just work up to 3-4 a day. I am so excited to try it, but I still have 11 weeks before I can start (5 weeks before baby, 6 weeks after.) I am definitely taking before and after photos. You guys should, too! Keep me updated on how it goes. -Jenni
